Originally Quinta da Ermida, the history of the place where today is the "Elegância & Carros Hotel" dates back to the end of the 19th century and carries with it a rich family history. A link between the past and the present, passed down from generation to generation, the house has been carefully preserved in its original essence. The meter-thick walls, built with the mastery of yesteryear, witnessed decades of love and family celebrations.
After a period of abandonment, the property was acquired and meticulously restored in the 2000s. With deep respect for the history of the place, the owner family preserved the essence of the initial construction and revived the house with details that make this space unique: from handcrafted ironwork, Also present in some pieces of furniture, several exquisitely crafted copper pieces, even the stained glass windows and colorful tiles that give a timeless charm to the space. A fascinating hand-painted ceiling and several romantic-style decorative pieces that enchant every look.

An old family home that became too big when the children grew up and went their own ways. That's how we decided to reinvent this space to offer you the same feeling of warmth and joy that we've experienced here for years.
